Quality Policy

It is the aim of the Company to ensure that all products and services supplied to its customers are of the highest quality.

All personnel within the organisation are responsible to achieve the company’s aim.

Quality Assurance procedures, as defined within the Business System Manual are the guidelines to which all personnel must conform.

Adequate training and equipment will be provided for all personnel, appropriate to their role within the organisation.

The systems, procedures and manufacturing processes will be systematically reviewed to achieve optimum levels of quality and productivity.

We shall endeavour to continually improve both the quality system and our performance by setting measurable objectives for our key processes. We shall regularly monitor and review these objectives and communicate the results throughout the business.

This policy is a controlled document and shall be reviewed and amended, where applicable, to ensure that it remains relevant to the Company’s business.

Health & Safety Policy

Creasefield policy and objectives have been set out to achieve high standards for Health Safety & Accident Prevention for employees and others affected by the Company's business.

Policy Objective-

  • Set standards for Health Safety and Accident Prevention equivalent to best Company
  • Continuously review risks, prepare and revise systems to address risks
  • Ensure all undertakings are evaluated to ensure they meet Company Health & Safety Policy
  • Ensure all employees and subcontractors are aware of their responsibilities for Health Safety & Accident Prevention and are properly trained
  • Encourage participation by all members of staff
  • Develop preventative measures to minimise risks
  • Monitor incidents and analyse causes and then instigate action to prevent reoccurrence
  • To ensure measures are taken to protect employees from hazards
  • Ensure all staff and visitors and other bodies are briefed on Health Safety & Accident Prevention and that their operations are properly monitored
  • To ensure that all relevant operative receive specific training on matters affecting their day to day work duties

Environmental Policy

As a responsible producer of industrial battery packs Creasefield Ltd recognise the need to minimise any adverse environmental effects caused as a result of our activities and products produced on its site and throughout its production and administration units on the Larchfield Estate in Ilminster. We aim to achieve our business objectives in a manner that reflects the changing environmental priorities of our customers and the community. As part of our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of environmental management, the company has implemented a environmental management system compliant with ISO14001.

Creasefield Ltd acknowledges its responsibility and commitment to the protection of the environment at all levels. Creasefield Ltd will comply with applicable environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice whilst committing to continuous improvement of our environmental management performance and the prevention of pollution.

We recognise that our key adverse environmental impacts are in the use of utilities such as gas and electricity and waste management. In particular Creasefield Ltd will:

  • Take action to eliminate or reduce, as far as practicable, any actual or potentially adverse environmental impacts
  • Wherever practicable to use appropriate recycled or recyclable materials
  • Encourage employees to work in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Where appropriate, obtain support from customers by providing them with products that are environmentally responsible in use
  • Promote a purchasing policy which will give preference, as far as practical, to those products and services which cause least harm to the environment
  • To minimise the generation of waste, to promote the use of sustainable resources and to make use of all materials, supplies and energy
  • Ensure, where possible all waste generated is recycled or disposed of in a responsible manner

The policy statement is on display at our premises and is made available on the internet at www.creasefield.co.uk and can be made available to the public via request.

Management and staff have responsibilities for the implementation of the policy and must ensure that environmental issues are given adequate consideration in the planning and day-to-day working activities.

Statement Regarding RoHS, WEE and The Battery Directive

Creasefield Ltd, as a battery pack producer, is committed to managing and improving our effect on the environment. As such, we note the appropriate legislation at this point in time, regarding the marketing and recycling of batteries is the Battery Directive 91/157/EEC. We also note, from the contents of this Directive, that Directive 2002/95/EC on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment does not apply to batteries and accumulators used in electrical and electronic equipment. The Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) states that batteries contained within electronic equipment should be easily accessible for recycling or recovery according to WEEE.
