Creasefield implement SAP Business By Design

After a challenging migration, we went live with our new cloud based ERP system in October – SAP Business By Design. The decision to upgrade to SAP was a huge one for us and demonstrates our commitment to use best of breed tools to run our business and partner with our most important customers and suppliers who also run SAP.

Significant benefits will begin filtering into all departments although the integration of finance, engineering, quality and sales functions into one integrated environment will leverage huge improvements for us. Reduced onsite maintenance and data securely stored offsite means we can focus all our efforts on designing and manufacturing battery packs.

SIRA Audit Success

23rd April 2013

Last week ended with a successful first audit from SIRA, our new approval body. The audit covered our annual surveillance of both ISO9001 and ISO14001, with some preparation for ISO18001 later in the year. The decision to partner with SIRA was easy – a world class organisation that allowed us to consolidate business systems and Atex QAR for enhanced capability and increased value for customers working in challenging industries. Their reputation speaks for itself and aligns perfectly with our valued customer base and activity with ATEX products. Please call us to discuss how Creasefield and SIRA can help you.

Accredited to ISO 14001

Following a successful audit in April 2012, our Environmental Management system was recommended for approval to the ISO14001 standard. We are now in receipt of a certificate from our approval body, URS. To have extended the scope of our business systems encompassing Environmental Management is a significant step forward for the company. Creasefield get re-certified

We’re delighted to announce that following our inspection, our business’ quality management system was re-certified against the ISO9001 standards.  Here at Creasefield we continually strive to achieve outstanding levels of quality so the re-certification reinforces everything we have been working towards as far as quality is concerned. To focus on continuous improvement of our quality standards we are proud to welcome to our team, Liz Davies as our new Quality Manager.

Whilst the media might be eluding to an annus horribilis and a double dip recession, Creasefield Ltd is bucking the trend! We are proud to say after a 2 year period of investing almost £250,000 into improving our production units, modernising our facilities and introducing state of the art welders, plus adding to and developing the skills of our workforce, the investment has paid off and we have ended this year profitably – Annus Mirabilis.
